They searched for me everywhere
Breaking all the signs and seals
Till I was read out
Written and quoted,
Demystified
and Decoded.
And as I felt them breaking in
I could feel my Humanity
Dying within.
They followed me everywhere
Chasing me behind my heels
Till I was cornered
All surrounded,
Silenced and robbed
and dumbfounded.
And as I saw them closing in
I could see my Humanity
Dying within.
They'll hunt you too
If you're not alert and known.
And when you're alone,
They'll push you off your comfort-zone.
They'll chase you, take you
Break your run
If ever you fall down to
Being Human
And I'll be there to join the fun...

Heey no one's commented on this one yet, thus I shall (as if I didn't have anything more important to do tho, last time I checked I already told you what I thought of this piece).

This sounds so freaking awesome in it's sarcastic irony. And it's obvious you've evolved from your former style.
For some hideous reason I immediately thought of Broken Mirror (a story of mine, dunno if you remember) when I read this poem - and this ofc is completely ridiculous cos Duke Frye wasn't a writer of any sort to be "written and quoted, demystified and decoded". His humanity might've been dying, yes, but in every other way I've no idea why my Freudian sub-mind came up with a connection of this kind.

Love the poem tho! ^^
