So we find ourselves giving in
To another stone we turn into a belief.
In search of that truth we want to hear
Relying on things more than we need.
If walls had ears, would you speak to them?
Let go of your angst and your soul
In search of a voice so long been unknown?
It's time you took a stand
And directed your faith somewhere else
That''ll bring you closer to yourself.
I'll need a hand to help me through
To save me from my fall.
A hand on my shoulder to pat on my back
Not the one to push me through the wall.
It's time I took a stand
And directed my faith somewhere else
For our prayers to be heard and wishes fulfilled
We need to face ourselves.

I like the first two stanzas the best, after that it feels like the poem loses speed a little. "Another stone we turn into a belief" - terrific imagery, you have such a way to put your thoughts in words.
